The Economic Council\u2019s (CE) actions during 2017 to improve the business environment and priorities for this year were considered at a today\u2019s meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pavel Filip. The Prime Minister stressed the Council\u2019s role in settling the problems faced by the business environment. \u201dThis is a platform where all points of view are taken into account and common mind is reached,\u201d the Premier said. Pavel Filip thanked business community\u2019s representatives for active involvement in the improvement of the framework regulating the business environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, he highlighted the valuable contribution of the development partners and the interest displayed by the civil society.| Among the reforms underway in the last year with the support and expertise of CE, there are the reform of the institutions with control duties, simplifying the procedures of reporting, cutting the number of permissive acts, enforcement of the concept of single window and improvement of the Labour Code. <\/p>\n\n\n
