ECONOMIC COUNCIL TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE RM
Sometimes relations between partners complicate the work of economic operators, and in some cases can even lead to the suspension of activity. Representatives of business associations meeting in the Working Group on the Regulation of Relations between Partners and Founders of Companies, set up by order of the Minister of Economy, announced that the Secretariat of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister acts as the secretariat of this working group.
Thus, the business association sector has submitted to the Secretariat of the Economic Council more than 50 topics for consideration, with proposals that should simplify relations between associations/founders of companies and reduce the risk of disputes and conflicts between them.
Today’s meeting discussed issues related to the subsidiary liability of shareholders, partnership contracts between shareholders, shareholders’ access to information about the company’s activities, the limit on the number of shareholders in a limited liability company, procedures for drawing up and signing articles of association by shareholders, contributions to share capital, etc.
The work of this Working Group will continue in the coming days and the result will be presented for public consultation and debate, including on the Economic Council platform, and then proposed to the authorities for promotion.
